What is the Wander Women Adventure Race?
The Karioi Project is excited to be teaming up with “Wander Women” as their donation partner!
With aligned values and the same adventurous spirit, we are stoked to have been chosen as the donation partner. With approximately 350-500 competitors coming from near and far it will be a super fun and exciting day!
On Saturday, May 4th 2024 women adventurers will navigate a secret course and complete fun mystery activities on foot and mountain bike in Whāingaroa. This is an important fundraiser for the project in exchange for providing volunteer support for the race. And, this is where you come in!
How can you help?
We are looking for marshals, donated burger ingredients, and people to flip those burgers!
We need over 30 volunteers to help marshal the race course, and some others flipping burgers!
We will be running the Kai tent and providing burgers and other food for all competitors and their support crew at the end of the race. We aim to have as much of the produce and products donated so we can really maximise the donation income for Karioi! Another way to support is to come along on the day, providing your local refreshments or kai business and donating a percentage of the day's sales to the Karioi Project.
We’re also open to other ideas that you might like to contribute.
