A Conservation Week challenge for all our trapping heroes

This Conservation Week, we’re rallying the whole Karioi whānau for a friendly challenge: how much of our trap network can we check in one week? Whether you look after a single trap in your backyard or an entire line on the maunga, every check counts — and together we can give our manu and taonga species a massive boost.

It’s simple: head out to your trapline anytime during Conservation Week, do a check, clear and reset your traps, and log it as usual on TrapNZ. Let’s see what we can achieve when everyone chips in. If you’re keen for some company or motivation, join us during another event this week!
