Driving instructions

  • from the Red Barn (meeting point at 754 Te Hutewai Rd)

  • to 104 Waimaunga Rd (the start of your line)

You’ll be going there ONLY AFTER the H&S Brief.

Your lines

Your bait line: S5L (and trapping on CNS, SWT and S1L)

Entry point: After our H&S talk, you’ll drive to 104, Waimaunga Rd (about 2.5 km from the Red Barn) See the driving/parking directions video above.

Once at 104, Waimaunga Rd, follow the green paddock walk on TrapNZ to the start of CNS (Cornes) track.

  • Check traps along CNS (Cornes) until the start of S5L

  • Walk South West/left onto S5L, and service these bait stations.

  • Turn right onto SWT (Sweetman), nearly to the bottom, checking traps.

  • Trap your way back along S1L.

  • Turn right onto CNS and walk down to the paddock.

Note: You are not filling the bait stations along CNS or SWT.


Exit point: Once done, get back to the car.  Follow the ‘Paddock Walk’ on TrapNZ if needed.
