P1L to P4L
Peacockes Lower Lines
This video is the quickest way to explain your lines. It’s worth taking a few minutes to watch it! If you prefer written instructions and a map, scroll down.
Your bait lines: P1L, P2L, P3L, P4L.
Entry point: Once the H&S talk is completed, you will drive your car to the Peacocke Farm entrance. (682 Te Hutewai Rd) From there you’ll get a lift as far as terrain allows - hopefully near P2L.
Start with P2L
If you have a buddy, and want to speed things along, split up for P1L and P3L.
We then suggest meeting up and doing P4L together.
Exchange numbers so you can communicate with each other.
From the end of P4L, you can make your short way through the bush to PCK track.
Walk down PCK to the paddock.
Exit point: Follow farm tracks and green ‘paddock walk’ on Trap.nz to get back to the car. Drive back to the Red Barn to offload any toxins and gear.
Note: It’s worth stashing some of the bait instead of carrying all of it all day.
